Early Poke Bonnet
This bonnet, suitable for c.1790 to 1810, comes forward over the face, and is iconic of the early regency period.

Poke Bonnet
This bonnet, suitable for c.1800 to 1835, has a tall crown and wide brim, pleasantly framing the face. It comes in one size, and requires the addition of ribbons. Click here to see a decorated version.

Cottage Bonnet
This small bonnet was worn through the late 1840s and early 1850s, but can also be suitable for the earlier regency period. Click here to see a decorated version.

Spoon Bonnet
This bonnet, suitable for c.1840 to 1860s, has a deep wide brim, which pleasantly frames the face. It comes in one size, and requires the addition of ribbons.

1860s Spoon Bonnet
Designed by Beth Turza, this bonnet follows the lines of the fashionable 1860s bonnets. A bavolet (the curtain at the back of the neck) and ribbons are needed to finish off the look.
