The bonnet shapes are extremely accurate, and are carefully moulded to recreate the original items. If you would like advice about which bonnet is suitable for a particular date, or have an image you would like to recreate, please contact me on serena@dressing-history.co.uk.

Currently we stock three main styles of hat. These are the cottage bonnet, the poke bonnet and the C18th Bergere. These are available as blank forms, as kits to make up yourself, or we can make them up ourselves to your own requirements.

The Kits comprise of one bonnet form of your choice, 2 yards of ribbon from the haberdashery (more available in same length at per yard cost), a booklet on bonnets of the period and a needle and thread with which to sew it. These kits cost £30.

If you would like your bonnet trimmed up for you, we are also able to offer this service. We can do anything from sewing on the ties for you, to copying a bonnet in a portrait. Prices start from £40.

Further ribbon to trim bonnets is available in the haberdashery.
